Construction Manager (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF115,000 - 120,000Role:
On behalf of our client, we are looking for an experienced professional as a Construction Manager for Structural Engineering / Construction Management for the independent realisation of diverse new build, conversion and renovation projects. You will manage construction projects as a general contractor, total contractor or construction service provider from execution planning to defect-free handover and coordinate planners, companies and other project partners. In addition to classic construction management, you will increasingly take on entrepreneurial responsibility, build your own client relationships and contribute to the development of internal structures and your own team. The position offers a long-term perspective for a further leadership and executive management role in construction management.
Responsibilities:
Independent management of new build, conversion and renovation projects in structural engineering
Execution of construction projects as general contractor, total contractor or construction service provider
Responsibility for execution planning, site organisation and contractor coordination
Management of all project processes from project start through realisation to acceptance and handover
Monitoring and control of costs, deadlines, quality and construction progress
Coordination of architects, specialist planners, companies, suppliers and other project partners
Conducting construction and coordination meetings and following up on agreed measures
Support with tendering, awarding, contracts and change order management
Management of construction administration and cost control with Messerli
Organisation of acceptances, defect management and defect-free project handover
Building and maintaining your own client and partner network and supporting the acquisition of new projects
Gradual build-up and operational management of your own team and participation in the strategic development of the business area
Qualifications:
Training as a certified construction manager, HF technician in structural engineering, FH architect or comparable construction-technical qualification
Several years of professional experience in construction management or construction management of structural engineering projects
Experience with general contractor/total contractor projects, ideally in residential, industrial or commercial construction
Sound knowledge of Swiss SIA standards, construction processes and contract basics
Good knowledge of cost, schedule, awarding and change order management
Confident handling of Messerli and Microsoft 365
Very good German language skills spoken and written
