Project Manager Engineering Surveying (m/f/d)

Role:
On behalf of a client, we are looking for an experienced individual as Project Manager: Engineering Surveying / Geomatics for the independent management of technically demanding surveying projects. You will accompany projects from planning measurement campaigns through data collection and geodetic evaluation to documentation and handover, using modern technologies such as laser scanning, GNSS and digital 3D methods. In addition to operational project responsibility, you will advise clients, support acquisition and further develop existing surveying and geomatics services. The role combines classic engineering surveying with 3D geodata, BIM and modern digital measurement methods.
Responsibilities:
Independent management and handling of demanding projects in engineering and construction surveying
Planning, organisation and coordination of surveying assignments and geodetic measurement campaigns
Execution and evaluation of precision, control, staking out and as-built surveys
Handling surveying tasks for building construction, civil engineering and infrastructure projects
Use of modern measurement methods such as GNSS, total stations, laser scanning and 3D point clouds
Preparation, evaluation and quality assurance of measurement data, 3D geodata and digital terrain models
Integration and provision of surveying data for BIM and digital planning processes
Responsibility for project organisation, deadlines, costs and technical quality
Creation of quotations, project bases, measurement concepts and technical documentation
Consultation and support of clients, planning offices, companies and other clients
Participation in acquisition, offer preparation and expansion of existing customer relationships
Further development of products, digital processes and services within engineering surveying
Qualifications:
Completed studies as Geomatics Engineer FH/ETH at Bachelor or Master level
Several years of experience in engineering and/or construction surveying
Sound knowledge of geodetic measurement methods, measurement data evaluation and 3D geodata
Experience with GNSS, total stations and digital surveying systems
Knowledge of laser scanning, point clouds, BIM or drone surveying is an advantage
Experience in project management, costing and offer preparation is an advantage
Good German language skills spoken and written
