About the job
For our client, an internationally active company in special machinery and plant engineering, we are looking for a committed individual as a Project Designer Plant Engineering. In this varied position, you will take on the planning and design of complex process engineering plants and accompany projects from the concept phase to realisation. In doing so, you will work closely with various specialist departments as well as international customers.
- Creation of 3D plant layouts for tender and execution projects
- Preparation of manufacturing documents, material lists and technical documentation
- Performing technical calculations as well as supporting project planning
- Coordination of technical interfaces with internal specialist departments, suppliers and customers
- Participation in the continuous optimisation of plant concepts and planning processes
- Further training at HF or FH level in mechanical engineering, process engineering or design is an advantage
- Professional experience in plant planning, design or process engineering plant construction
- Very good knowledge of 3D CAD systems as well as PDM solutions
- Experience with plant planning software is an advantage
- Strong spatial imagination as well as structured and independent working style
- Fluent German and English skills
- Challenging projects in international plant and special machinery construction

- Completed technical basic training as a draftsman EFZ, plant planner, mechanical draughtsman or comparable training- Further training at HF or FH level in mechanical engineering, process engineering or design is an advantage
- Professional experience in plant planning, design or process engineering plant construction
- Very good knowledge of 3D CAD systems as well as PDM solutions
- Experience with plant planning software is an advantage
