ARCHITECT / DRAFTSMAN (m/f/d)

Role:

On behalf of a client, we are looking for a committed and technically skilled professional for the planning and realisation of diverse architectural projects in residential and industrial construction. You will handle construction projects of various sizes and accompany their development from the initial project idea through digital planning to structural implementation. The focus is on 3D architectural planning with ArchiCAD, the constructive elaboration of demanding construction projects, and interdisciplinary collaboration with internal and external specialists. The position combines architectural and technical understanding, modern digital planning methods, and enjoyment of practical realisation with the opportunity to actively contribute your own ideas to project development.

Responsibilities:

• Active participation in the planning and realisation of demanding residential and industrial construction projects of varying sizes and complexity levels

• Handling architectural projects across various SIA service phases from concept development and project planning to execution planning

• Creation, editing, and further development of digital 3D building models with ArchiCAD as a basis for precise and coordinated architectural planning

• Development of floor plans, sections, elevations, and detail drawings considering architectural, constructive, and functional requirements

• Constructive elaboration of design and project planning concepts to develop technically sound and economically feasible solutions

• Participation in the preparation of construction project, building permit, and execution documents in compliance with applicable building regulations and planning standards

• Development and graphic implementation of structural and connection details for residential and industrial buildings with various constructive requirements

• Coordination and integration of specialist planner information from structural engineering, building services, and other technical disciplines

• Creation and preparation of architectural visualisations and digital presentation materials to clearly present project ideas and planning variants

• Participation in the use of modern digital planning methods, such as 3D printing, model-based planning, and evaluation of digital surveys

• Close collaboration with architects, project managers, specialist planners, and contractors to ensure coordinated project processing

• Support of structural realisation through technical plan adjustments, detail clarifications, and quality assurance in coordination with project management and site supervision

Qualifications:

• Completed architecture studies at ETH or FH or a completed apprenticeship as a draftsman EFZ specialising in architecture or a comparable recognised qualification

• Strong motivation and enthusiasm for architecture and building planning as well as enjoyment in developing and practically realising demanding construction projects

• Good user knowledge of ArchiCAD 3D with experience in digital building modelling and creation of architectural and planning documents

• Solid architectural and constructive understanding as well as interest in residential construction, industrial construction, and sustainable, functional building concepts

• Knowledge of Swiss planning and construction processes, especially relevant SIA service phases, technical building standards, and requirements for execution planning

• Independent, structured, and quality-conscious working style with initiative, willingness to learn, and openness to innovative digital planning and presentation methods

• Good German language skills in spoken and written form as well as teamwork, communication skills, and enjoyment of professional exchange with internal and external project participants
