You implement demanding virtualisation projects from architecture through implementation to complex migration projects within heterogeneous VMware environments.
You capture technical and business customer requirements, develop individual solution concepts from them, and accompany their successful implementation.
You act as a technical contact for sales and pre-sales and support tender processes, technical offers, and the creation of reliable project calculations.
You analyse existing infrastructure platforms, identify optimisation opportunities, and continuously develop virtualisation and cloud architectures.
You actively contribute to the strategic direction of the hybrid cloud area and establish scalable cloud infrastructures as well as modern IaaS services.
Qualifications:
Completed technical training or comparable qualification as well as at least 3 years of professional experience as a VMware engineer, system engineer, or solution architect.
Extensive practical experience with VMware Cloud Foundation and components such as vSphere, vSAN, NSX, Aria, and SDDC Manager.
Good knowledge of the interaction of various data centre technologies, especially compute, storage, networking, and backup.
Certifications in the VMware environment are a plus; at the same time, you demonstrate willingness to learn and interest in cloud computing, virtualisation, and new technologies.
Confident appearance towards customers, very good German skills, good English skills, high self-responsibility, and a strong willingness for continuous development.
