Junior Civil Engineering Project Manager (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF95,000 - 100,000Role:
On behalf of our client, we are looking for a motivated professional as a (Junior) Civil Engineering Project Manager for the planning and realisation of diverse municipal infrastructure projects. You will work on projects in the fields of civil and road construction, urban drainage, water supply, and watercourse engineering and accompany these step-by-step from planning to execution. The position particularly offers younger civil engineers and technicians the opportunity to increasingly take on project management responsibility and to further develop their expertise in municipal civil engineering.
Responsibilities:
Planning and processing of projects in general civil and road construction
Planning and realisation of utility and municipal infrastructure projects
Handling projects in urban drainage and water supply
Participation in watercourse engineering, flood protection, and revitalisation projects
Accompanying projects from the concept and planning phase through to execution
Preparation of project, tender, and execution documents
Development of technical solutions, variants, and decision bases
Support or takeover of tendering and awarding procedures
Coordination with municipalities, authorities, clients, specialist planners, and companies
Support or gradual takeover of construction management
Control of costs, deadlines, and quality within the projects managed
Contribution to the further development of efficient planning and project management processes
Qualifications:
Education as a Bachelor of Civil Engineering FH/ETH, Technician HF in Structural/Civil Engineering or comparable construction-technical qualification
Initial professional experience or solid expertise in civil and road construction
Knowledge in urban drainage, water supply, and utility construction
Experience in watercourse engineering is an advantage
Knowledge of relevant SIA, VSS, and Swiss civil engineering standards is an advantage
Interest in project management, construction management, and municipal engineering
Very good German language skills as well as professional conduct towards clients and authorities
