Role:
In this role, you take responsibility for the stable and efficient operation of IT systems and infrastructures. You ensure the smooth running of daily operational tasks, proactively monitor systems, and initiate appropriate measures in case of disruptions. Additionally, you plan and coordinate maintenance, updates, and optimisations to continuously improve performance, availability, and security. You work closely with other IT departments, analyse technical requirements, and implement suitable solutions in operations. Through your structured and reliable working style, you contribute significantly to ensuring a modern, secure, and high-performance IT environment.
Responsibilities:
- You are responsible for the stable operation, further development, and automation of our IT infrastructure focusing on Microsoft 365, Microsoft Azure, as well as Windows Server systems and applications.
- In this role, you analyse technical challenges, develop sustainable solutions, and contribute your own ideas to optimisation processes.
- As an IT system operations specialist, you handle complex 2nd-level support cases in a solution-oriented manner and collaborate with external partners if necessary.
- You monitor, maintain, and optimise our system landscape with regard to performance, security, and scalability.
- In this role, you accompany IT projects from planning to implementation and independently take responsibility for technical sub-areas.
- You document your work comprehensibly and thus contribute to sustainable knowledge building within the team.
Qualifications:
- You have completed training in computer science and have several years of experience as a system engineer or IT administrator in the Microsoft environment.
- Very good knowledge of Windows Server, M365, and Microsoft Azure, especially in administration, troubleshooting, and automation.
- Structured, independent working with proactive thinking in technical matters.
- Experience in planning and implementing IT projects as well as a strong service and quality awareness.
- Fluent German skills and good English skills in spoken and written form.
