Role:
For our Rocken partner we are looking for a Technical Editor (m/f/d)
Responsibilities:
- Creation, revision and maintenance of technical documentation such as operating instructions, manuals and product descriptions
- Collaboration with various departments, including engineering, product management and quality control, to collect and process technical information
- Ensuring compliance with standards and guidelines in technical documentation
- Maintenance and updating of existing documentation according to customer requirements and feedback
- Management of translation processes for multilingual documentation
Qualifications:
- Completed technical basic training with industrial professional experience
- Several years of professional experience in technical editing or technical documentation
- Further training at HF/FH level in technical documentation or comparable qualifications are advantageous
- Very good knowledge of the German language spoken and written
- Good knowledge of the English language to understand and write technical documentation
- Confident handling of common software tools for creating technical documentation
