Our client is an IT service provider that supports companies in modernising their data centre and cloud infrastructures. The technical environment is demanding and versatile: from virtualisation and backup to hybrid cloud solutions and highly available system landscapes, individual solutions are created for different customers. In this role, you take technical responsibility for complex projects, develop suitable architecture concepts, and accompany customers from planning to implementation. At the same time, you contribute your know-how to the team and actively shape the further development of modern infrastructure services.
Responsibilities:
Planning and leading demanding customer projects around VMware, Hyper-V, Omnissa Horizon, Azure as well as backup and storage solutions
Analysing existing IT infrastructures and developing virtualisation concepts with a focus on security, availability, and performance
Designing and integrating public, private, and hybrid cloud environments as well as hyper-converged infrastructure solutions
Technical consulting of customers on cloud architectures, virtualisation, and modernisation of data centre environments
Supporting sales and architecture teams in workshops, requirements analyses, and solution concepts
Coaching internal staff and evaluating new technologies to further develop the service portfolio
Qualifications:
Completed IT education with further training at HF/FH level or a comparable qualification
Several years of practical experience in engineering complex virtualisation and backup infrastructures
Solid experience in IT projects and migrations within heterogeneous system landscapes
Current certifications in the VMware or Microsoft environment, for example MS-102 or AZ-104
Good knowledge of network technologies as well as backup and storage
Strong customer orientation and enjoyment of technical consulting
Independent, structured, and responsible working style as well as willingness for continuous further training
Very good German skills and good English skills in spoken and written form
