About the job
Fixed-term for 18 months, starting from October 2026. Do you want to apply your legal knowledge in practice after your Master’s degree and gain valuable professional experience in a versatile international company? As a Trainee Legal Counsel, you will gain insight into a wide range of legal issues, gradually take on responsibility, and deepen your legal expertise.
Your job destination
- You review and draft contracts of various kinds and support their legal assessment
- You competently answer legal inquiries, conduct the corresponding correspondence, and support internal contacts on legal matters
- You prepare complex legal content in an understandable and target-group appropriate manner – for example in memos, opinions, information sheets, templates, or presentations
- You independently research and analyse relevant legal bases and case law and derive well-founded assessments from them
- You participate in projects with legal issues, contribute your legal perspective, and support the development of practical solutions
- With increasing experience, you take on more demanding tasks and additional responsibility
Your skills in your luggage
- You have successfully completed your Master’s degree in law (MLaw) and possess solid foundational knowledge in private and public law
- You want to consciously make the step from theory to practice, deliberately expand your first practical experiences, and deepen your legal expertise in a versatile corporate environment – while simultaneously developing professionally, for example through a dissertation or preparation for the bar exam
- You are enthusiastic about legal and business-related issues and bring high motivation as well as a strong willingness to learn
- Working independently, efficiently, reliably, and carefully is natural to you – and you place great value on the high quality of your work
- You communicate confidently and fluently in German and have good English skills as well as very good PC user skills
- Your confident manner, team spirit, and communication skills convince in exchanges with different contacts, and you can clearly represent your position
