Head of Cloud Platform Development (m/f/d)

Responsibilities:
- You design and are responsible for the cloud and API architectures in collaboration with hardware and cloud teams.
- In this role, you advise developers on architecture and business questions and ensure quality through code and pull request reviews.
- You conduct complex error analyses and support the team in structured problem-solving.
- As Head of Cloud Platform Development, you manage the development flow, prioritise tasks, monitor progress, and actively remove blockers.
- You take on the technical leadership of smaller teams, including those organised nearshore, and strengthen their collaboration.
- In this role, you act as a proxy product owner, translating business requirements into technical specifications and user stories, and help shape roadmaps and sprint ceremonies.
Qualifications:
- You think analytically, approach challenges in a structured way, and work confidently with agile methods such as Scrum or Kanban.
- You present yourself as a communicative team player, resolve conflicts constructively, and can clearly convey technical visions.
- You have solid experience in API management including testing, security, and best practices.
- You master CI/CD pipelines and automation as well as professional handling of Git workflows.
- You ideally have knowledge in modern web development with REST APIs, gRPC or MQTT, as well as in .NET/C#.
- You gain extra points with know-how in cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure), infrastructure as code (e.g. Terraform), SQL/NoSQL databases, and containerisation with Docker and Kubernetes.
