Role:

On behalf of a client, we are looking for a qualified specialist as a project manager: architect ETH / FH for an established architectural firm with diverse building construction projects. You will take on independent project management and architectural planning from project design through the building permit process to execution planning and construction implementation. The focus is on creating project design, building application, working and detail plans with ArchiCAD as well as technical coordination with clients, specialist planners and contractors. The position combines architectural project responsibility, constructive detail planning and professional construction project management.

Responsibilities:

• Independent project management of architectural projects through the relevant SIA phases from project design to construction implementation

• Creation of project design and building application plans taking into account applicable building regulations and legal requirements

• Independent development of working and execution plans including constructive detail planning and technical elaboration

• Digital architectural planning with ArchiCAD including 2D plan editing, 3D modelling and maintenance of project documents

• Development and optimisation of constructive detail solutions considering materialisation, feasibility, cost-effectiveness and quality

• Consultation and support of clients including customer meetings, needs assessments and coordination of technical requirements

• Coordination with specialist planners, authorities and contractors to ensure professional planning and project realisation

• Support of building permit procedures including compilation of building application documents and handling of official feedback

• Project organisation and schedule management including planning meetings, task tracking and coordination of project participants

• Quality assurance and plan review regarding technical requirements, SIA standards, building regulations and constructive implementation

• Administrative project processing with Microsoft Office including correspondence, meeting minutes, project documentation and schedule overviews

• Technical support during construction execution as well as coordination with site management and contractors on planning and detail issues

Qualifications:

• Completed architecture degree Bachelor or Master (ETH/FH/University) or equivalent recognised qualification

• Professional experience in architectural planning and project management, ideally in Swiss building construction

• Very good ArchiCAD skills in project design, building application, working and detail planning

• Sound knowledge of Swiss construction and planning processes, especially SIA phases, building permit procedures and building regulations

• In-depth expertise in construction, execution planning, detail development and materialisation

• Good user knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel and Outlook

• Very good German language skills in spoken and written form
