The Matterhorn Gotthard Railway is taking new paths in leadership: For the Locomotive Staff Team Andermatt-Disentis we are looking for a junior person as Co-Team Leader starting 1 December 2026. In this model, you will lead the team jointly and with a future focus alongside an experienced team leader. You will actively participate in daily operations, operational leadership, and the further development of the team. The goal is to gradually develop you into a comprehensive leadership role while you remain active as a locomotive driver 50% of the time.Your area of responsibility
You will take on targeted tasks in co-leadership focusing on leadership and team development. Your experienced co-team leader will support you as a coach. Your main tasks are:
- Participation in recruitments, conducting dialogue discussions, and accompanying rides with employees
- Organisation and leadership of team meetings
- Rotation and scheduling matters
- Support in conducting safety discussions
- Locomotive driver (50%)
Your profile
- You have training as a locomotive driver and possess very good operational and technical knowledge
- You are open to trying new things and gradually working into a leadership role and have a strong interest in leadership and team development
- You are communicative, resilient, and enjoy taking responsibility
- You are customer-oriented, service-minded, and have a pronounced safety awareness
- You have good IT user skills
