System Engineer Datacentre (m/f/d)

Role:
Stable systems do not arise by themselves but through people with technical foresight. Exactly for this reason, a System Engineer Datacentre is sought who confidently masters server landscapes, virtualisation and databases. You will shape the technical foundation for digital development and contribute your know-how in projects. You can expect an environment where personal responsibility counts and collegial exchange is a matter of course.
Responsibilities:
You build systems in the areas of servers, databases and security and keep them operational.
You develop technical concepts and implement them together with IT and specialist departments.
In daily operations, you independently perform operations tasks and resolve requests in 2nd and 3rd level support.
Furthermore, you lead IT projects and act as a technical sparring partner.
Additionally, you advance the infrastructure with current technologies.
You also keep documentation and IT processes up to date.
Qualifications:
You have completed your IT training at HF, FH level or an equivalent further education.
Several years of experience in demanding infrastructure environments shape your profile.
VMware and Microsoft server platforms are part of your daily toolkit.
You work confidently with Active Directory including GPO, DNS, DHCP and user management.
Furthermore, you are proficient with Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL), and Linux knowledge complements your profile.
In addition, you convince with a structured working style, team spirit as well as fluent German and solid English.
