Role:
The company is a specialised Swiss service provider in the field of occupational pension schemes and supports institutional clients in the professional management and organisation of their pension institutions.
The working environment combines pensions, finance, administration, consulting, and digitalisation. Employees collaborate with various specialist departments and external stakeholders and deal with demanding issues related to occupational pensions.
Responsibilities:
You are responsible for the ongoing financial accounting including account assignment, document recording, account reconciliations, and payment runs.
You independently contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to Swiss GAAP FER and ensure proper account reconciliation.
You take over the VAT returns and support the preparation of relevant documents.
You actively participate in budgeting, forecasts, and financial analyses and prepare meaningful evaluations.
In close cooperation with internal departments, you provide financial data and reports as required.
Qualifications:
You have a commercial education or a comparable qualification with a focus on finance and bring several years of experience in financial accounting.
Good knowledge of accounting software and MS Office is part of your professional toolkit.
A precise, structured, and detail-oriented working style as well as a strong affinity for numbers characterise you.
As a team-oriented and communicative personality, you work reliably with various departments.
Fluent written and spoken German.
