Server & Network Engineer (m/f/d)
Our ROCKEN partner is a renowned IT service company specialising in providing solutions from Microsoft’s comprehensive product range. Our expertise includes, among other things, virtualisation, firewall setup, and network installation. With a holistic approach, we plan, implement, and operate IT infrastructures both on-site and in the cloud, working closely with Microsoft’s innovative technologies.
Role:
Stable IT arises where someone truly knows the systems. This is exactly where your work as a Server & Network Engineer begins. You keep the infrastructures of various business clients running, from Windows Server through virtualisation to firewall. The paths are short, decisions are made quickly, and your experience counts. A collegial team supports you in this.
Responsibilities:
You manage server landscapes, networks, and security components in daily operations.
During monitoring, you keep an eye on the systems and react early to irregularities.
You classify occurring faults, investigate the cause, and ensure a clean resolution.
Additionally, you implement technical solutions coordinated with customers and colleagues.
You assist with migrations and expansions in the areas of virtualisation and backup.
You also maintain the technical documentation and keep it comprehensible.
Qualifications:
You entered IT through a completed vocational training in the field of computer science.
You manage servers, Active Directory, and Exchange with solid know-how.
You are confident in the Windows Server and client environment.
Network, firewall, backup, and security are part of your technical repertoire.
Initial experience with Microsoft 365 (M365) and Azure is an advantage.
Furthermore, you impress with a neat appearance, work independently, speak Swiss German, manage English, and hold a category B driving licence to visit customers.
