To complete the teams at Lanthmann Constructions Bois SA in Vuadens (FR), we are immediately or by agreement seeking a qualified TIMBER ENGINEER.

Your mission
Develop and maintain relationships with architects, engineers, clients and other partners in the construction sector
Analyse projects in the early phase and support architects and clients in the search for relevant, economical and feasible timber construction solutions
Develop variants and technical concepts to optimise projects in terms of structure, prefabrication, cost, schedule and implementation
Analyse tenders and public contracts, coordinate their preparation and participate in the development of technical files and offers
Contribute to costing and defining services in collaboration with the Group’s internal teams
Depending on the projects, carry out or supervise the dimensioning of timber structures and joints
Your key skills
You hold a HES engineering degree in timber technology from EPFL, a civil engineering degree with experience in timber, or an equivalent qualification
You can demonstrate proven professional experience of more than 5 years in a similar position
You are proficient in structural software such as Dlubal RFEM/RSTAB and Cadwork
You are able to quickly analyse a project and propose technically relevant and economically realistic solutions
You appreciate contact with clients, architects and partners and are comfortable presenting and defending a solution
You communicate authentically and know how to establish a climate of trust with your interlocutors
