Security does not begin only at the incident. It arises where risks are properly assessed, architectures are cleanly planned, and technical possibilities are sensibly applied. As a Senior Consultant, you combine security engineering, architecture, and strategic consulting. You help customers further develop their security landscape and turn complex requirements into clear, actionable solutions.
Responsibilities:
Risk & Security Advisory
You analyse existing security landscapes and derive risks, fields of action, and concrete improvement measures from them
You develop prioritised security roadmaps together with customers and accompany their implementation
You advise on risk management, governance, compliance, and security best practices
Architecture & Technology
You develop holistic security architectures and solution concepts
You contribute your expertise in Microsoft Security, Azure, IAM, Endpoint or Network Security to demanding customer projects
You evaluate existing solutions, question security concepts, and develop them further in a targeted manner
You consider modern principles such as Zero Trust and Defence in Depth in your solution approaches
Enablement & Projects
You conduct security workshops and convey complex content understandably to technical and non-technical stakeholders
You accompany security projects from the initial analysis through solution design to implementation and handover
You support pre-sales, customer presentations, and quality assurance of security solutions
You empower customers to independently further develop security requirements in the long term
Qualifications:
You have several years of experience in IT security consulting, security engineering, or security architecture
You have built up in-depth expertise in at least one security area, for example Microsoft Security, Azure, IAM, Endpoint or Network Security
You can connect technical security concepts with business, organisational, and regulatory requirements
You have experience with security assessments, risk management, and governance
You work independently, analytically, and solution-oriented and can handle even complex situations in a structured manner
You appear confident to customers and have strong communication and moderation skills
You have very good German language skills as well as good English skills
You enjoy passing on knowledge and professionally developing customers and internal teams
