Role:
As an International Category Manager, you are responsible for the strategic procurement of cables and electrotechnical components on a global level. You develop procurement strategies, optimise purchasing costs, and strengthen international supplier relationships.
Responsibilities:
You are responsible for the global strategic procurement of cables as well as the procurement of electromechanical components and electrical cabinets.
You develop international procurement strategies and implement measures to optimise costs.
You manage and develop the supplier portfolio including selection, evaluation, and risk management.
You conduct price and contract negotiations and ensure compliance with relevant guidelines.
You analyse procurement costs and savings potentials and optimise total cost of ownership (TCO).
You work closely with international specialist departments from engineering, production, quality, and supply chain.
Qualifications:
You have at least five years of professional experience in strategic purchasing, commodity management, or category management in an international industrial environment.
You bring solid experience in supplier management and international procurement projects.
You have fluent German and English skills, both spoken and written; knowledge of French or Italian is an advantage.
