Study Manager - Water Treatment

Mandated by one of my clients, a leading player in environmental engineering integrated into a nationally renowned group, for the recruitment of their future technical manager.

Work rate: 80 - 100% | Region: Seeland (Biel)

Your Mission

Under the responsibility of the Management, you lead the unit dedicated to the design and costing of water treatment solutions (public and industrial sectors). Your role combines technical leadership, project management and operational optimisation.

• Team Management: Supervise and support engineers and technicians in the preparation of technical and financial dossiers.

• Tender Management: Coordinate responses to public and private bids (analysis of specifications, process sizing, profitability calculations and operational assessments).

• Process Optimisation: Ensure continuous improvement of costing and planning tools in compliance with quality standards (such as ISO 9001).

• Project Management: Oversee the overall supervision of mandates, ensuring strict adherence to budgets, deadlines and quality standards.

• Strategic Monitoring: Identify market opportunities and maintain active monitoring of new effluent treatment projects.

Your Profile

• Education: EPF, HES engineer or equivalent, specialising in environment, chemical engineering or processes.

• Expertise: You have proven experience in the field of purification or wastewater treatment.

• Soft Skills: With an entrepreneurial vision, you know how to unite a team around common goals. Your diplomacy and analytical mindset make you a credible interlocutor.

• Languages: Given the bilingual context of the region, proficiency in French and German (level C1/C2 for one, B2/C1 for the other) is essential.

• Technical Skills: Excellent writing skills and complete ease with digital tools and project management software.
