Job Description
As a case manager within the Croisée prison in Orbe, you assist in managing activities related to the registry and oversee the administrative follow-up of detainees' files. You handle various procedures related to their detention, from entry to release, ensuring meticulous record-keeping and compliance with deadlines and legal and administrative requirements.
In your role, you also manage communications with criminal authorities, institutional partners, and different sectors of the establishment. You provide information and guidance to your contacts, participate in monitoring decisions, and, if necessary, support other activities within the administrative sector.

Responsibilities
Manage daily procedures for detainees' entry and release, schedule court appearances, maintain the timetable, update statistics, and perform filing and archiving.
Keep current detainees' files up to date, draft all correspondence related to detainee management. Enter and monitor changes in authority, sentencing procedures, relief requests, transfer requests for sentence execution, etc.
Organise sessions related to detainees (interdisciplinary networks). Participate in planning and managing transfers related to medical issues and transfers to other establishments.
Analyse visit requests for detainees, determine their feasibility, plan accordingly, and draft authorisations or refusals.
Analyse and process all correspondence received from various criminal authorities and different sectors of the establishment related to detainee detention.
Ensure, develop, and maintain contacts with bodies, services, organisations, institutions, and individuals directly linked to SPEN activities and detainees' lives.

Fixed-term contract for one year, possibly renewable.
Qualifications
Commercial employee CFC or equivalent qualification.
At least 4 years of proven experience within a criminal justice entity.
Excellent organisational skills.
High discretion in handling sensitive data.
Excellent interpersonal skills, team spirit, and empathy.
Good command of French, both spoken and written.
Knowledge of German and English is an asset.
Proficiency in common IT tools.
Our employment conditions require you to be Swiss or hold a C permit, be free of debt enforcement (an extract from the Debt Collection Office must be presented during the process), and have a clean criminal record. There is a right to consult the criminal record under the Federal Law on the Criminal Record by the hiring authority for this position.
