For our client, an established Swiss industrial company with modern serial production in the Amriswil TG area, we are looking for an independent, reliable and technically skilled individual as an Industrial Electrician / Maintenance Technician Industry 80-100% (m/f).
In this versatile role, you will maintain electrical systems, production machines and technical operational equipment during ongoing operations. You will analyse faults, perform maintenance and ensure that the systems operate safely, reliably and efficiently.
You can expect an industrial environment with automated production processes, technical systems and varied tasks in industrial electrics, maintenance and system optimisation.
- Analysis and resolution of electrical, control and automation faults
- Maintenance of control cabinets, sensors, drives, controls, safety circuits and electrical components
- Execution of preventive maintenance work according to maintenance and servicing plans
- Support with conversions, expansions, installations and technical optimisations
- Participation in commissioning, functional tests, adjustments and system improvements
- Reading, checking and updating electrical schematics, control documents and technical documentation
- Collaboration with production, maintenance, engineering, quality assurance and external service providers
- Ensuring system availability, occupational safety, quality and operational safety
- Documentation of completed work, faults and technical measures
- Experience in industrial electrics, automation, maintenance or technical servicing is an advantage
- Good understanding of electrical systems, controls, sensors, drive technology, control cabinets and safety components
- Ability to read electrical schematics and systematically analyse technical faults
- PLC knowledge, for example Siemens S7 / TIA Portal, is an advantage
- Experience with automated production systems, manufacturing equipment or technical operational equipment is an advantage
- Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics or mechanics is a plus
- Industrial electrician licence according to NIV Art. 13 is an advantage or willingness to obtain it
- Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style
- Sense of responsibility, quality awareness and enjoyment of practical technology
- Good German language skills, both spoken and written
- Willingness to work day shifts, on-call or shift work, depending on the area of deployment

Profile
- Completed training as an automation technician, industrial electrician, electrical installer, automation fitter, electronics technician or comparable technical education- Experience in industrial electrics, automation, maintenance or technical servicing is an advantage
