The KPP-5 ward of the Centre for Psychiatry and Psychotherapy (ZPPS) is a specialised ward focusing on the treatment of patients (between 18 and 65 years old) with a psychiatric disorder and complex psychosocial challenges, with an emphasis on recovery and psychosocial needs.

The inpatient Centre for Psychiatry and Psychotherapy is part of the Clinic for Adult Psychiatry and Psychotherapy of the PDAG (Clinic Director Prof. Dr med Marc Walter). It is responsible for modern acute psychiatric treatment of people between 18 and 64 years old, which includes biological, psychotherapeutic and social medical interventions and is based on open-door and no-restraint concepts. The centre is jointly led by Dr med Maxim Zavorotnyy and Simone Meister, Head of Nursing, and comprises five wards. There is close networking with Interventional Psychiatry. For doctors, the centre is an SIWF-recognised training centre for psychiatry and psychotherapy category A inpatient (3 years) and for interventional psychiatry (rTMS and ECT).

- Completed training as a medical practice assistant or health professional, preferably with experience in practice administration
- Empathetic attitude when dealing with people in crisis situations

Tasks
- Administrative tasks related to patients as well as support of ward management
- Handling of email and telephone enquiries
- Carrying out medical-technical procedures
- Updating patient data in the clinical information system (ORBIS) and other software applications
- Supporting the induction of new employees according to internal ward guidelines
- Recording and processing data for quality control
- Main responsibility for ordering and logistical tasks within the ward as well as primary contact person for system-relevant interfaces
- Minute-taking at meetings
