Role:
In this role, you develop embedded software in C/C++ and thus make a decisive contribution to the functionality of complex systems. You take responsibility for the conception, implementation, and optimisation of software components on resource-constrained platforms. You analyse requirements, develop robust architectures, and ensure the high quality of solutions through systematic testing. You work closely with adjacent disciplines to optimally coordinate hardware and software and realise reliable, high-performance products. With your experience as a professional, you bring in best practices, drive technical improvements, and thus support the continuous development of the embedded software landscape.
Responsibilities:
- You develop, integrate, test, and document embedded software in C/C++
- In this role, you actively work on topics of functional safety and cybersecurity
- As an embedded C/C++ software developer, you help design system concepts and system architectures
- You create software architectures and derive precise software requirements from them
- In this role, you contribute to the agile development process and work closely with interdisciplinary teams
Qualifications:
- Degree (Bachelor, Master or PhD) in electrical engineering or computer science
- Several years of experience in embedded software development with embedded Linux and/or RTOS
- Very good programming skills in C and C++
- Solid know-how in Ethernet communication technologies
- Confident handling of object-oriented architecture and design, for example with UML
- Experience in using tools and technologies such as Jenkins and Python
