Your Tasks
Shape the IT security strategy: Experienced IT professional in IAM wanted! Take on a leadership role, help shape the IT security strategy and lead a committed team. Use your expertise in a dynamic environment.
Responsibility for strategy & operations: In this role, you take on the technical and personnel management of the IAM team and bear overall responsibility for the strategic and operational development of the IAM platform.
Collaboration for secure access: You manage key IAM projects and work closely with internal specialist departments as well as external partners to ensure secure, efficient and future-proof access and authorisation processes.
Ensuring compliance & innovation in IAM: You ensure that all security and compliance requirements are consistently met and support us in implementing new technologies in the IAM area.
Your Profile
Experience: You have experience in IAM, IT security & access management and already bring leadership experience. In addition, you are proficient in handling common IAM technologies such as Microsoft Entra ID, SailPoint or One Identity.
Personality: Your analytical thinking and strong communication skills enable you to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders at all levels.
Education: For this position, we are looking for a motivated and solution-oriented individual with a degree in computer science, business informatics or a comparable qualification.
Language: German at a business fluent level.

IT BS is the internal IT service provider of the Canton of Basel-Stadt and belongs to the Department of Finance. The department provides the collaboration and communication infrastructure for mobile and stationary IT workplaces and the associated support. In addition, IT BS continuously develops various offerings for the public in the area of eGovernment and digitalisation. A functioning IT is central to the efficient operation of the cantonal administration.
