Role:

For an internationally active trading company, we are looking for an analytical personality who not only evaluates numbers but also recognises and explains connections clearly. You will move between financial controlling, reporting, monthly closings, and cross-departmental projects, ensuring that financial information forms a reliable basis for decisions.

Responsibilities:

• You prepare management reports on margins, costs, cash flow, and working capital

• You review valuations, provisions, and accruals and ensure comprehensible documentation

• You coordinate central topics around monthly closings and liaise with various departments

• You identify financial risks and clarify discrepancies between operational systems and financial accounting

• You develop controlling processes and standards further and ensure efficient workflows

• You coordinate finance and system projects, monitor milestones, and ensure the implementation of agreed measures

Qualifications:

• You have a degree in finance, accounting, controlling, business administration or a comparable qualification

• You bring at least three years of experience in financial controlling, accounting, audit or a similar function

• You have solid experience with monthly closings, reconciliations, reporting, and financial analyses

• You possess very good Excel skills and experience with ERP and reporting systems

• You communicate very well in German and English; additional languages are an advantage
