What you will achieve
- Responsibility for the smooth production of hot and cold dishes according to recipe specifications
- Professional leadership, training and promotion of the kitchen team to ensure a motivated and high-performing work environment
- Organisation and execution of all mise-en-place tasks for an efficient kitchen workflow
- Well-calculated menu planning as well as independent management of ordering, inventory management and stocktaking
- Ensuring and implementing ISO and HACCP guidelines to guarantee the highest hygiene standards
What you bring with you
- Completed chef apprenticeship with a federal certificate of competence (EFZ) and solid IT skills
- Strong business acumen and operational thinking
- Very good German skills (level C1-C2) in spoken and written form
- Several years of professional experience in the banquet sector as well as a hands-on, flexible, resilient and team-oriented working style
- A proactive personality with high flexibility, resilience and strong team spirit
- Passion for the cooking profession and enjoyment of guest contact (front cooking)

Your place of work
At the Campus Meielen Ginko restaurant in Zollikofen, you and your team pamper around 500 guests daily with a diverse offer: varied menus, vegetarian dishes, salads and snacks from early to late, as well as a sophisticated catering service for meetings and aperitifs.
You work Monday to Friday, from 6:30 am to 4:30 pm, depending on the duty roster. On occasions, you may also work until 8:00 pm. The establishment is closed on public holidays and weekends.
