Cyber Security Specialist (m/f/d)

Responsibilities:
You analyse security alerts and suspicious activities, identify affected systems and accounts, and assist in containing, resolving, and documenting security incidents.
You plan and implement cyber security projects and implement as well as test protection functions in local, hybrid, and cloud-based environments.
You assess vulnerabilities, prioritise necessary measures, close security gaps, and verify the effectiveness of implemented solutions.
You operate security platforms, develop and optimise detection rules and playbooks, and reduce recurring false alarms.
You automate recurring queries and manual processes and continuously develop detection and investigation workflows.
Qualifications:
You have an IT education or a comparable qualification and bring practical experience in system engineering or cyber security. A current part-time IT degree is also welcome.
You have good knowledge of Windows Server and clients, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, and Microsoft 365 and understand the interaction of systems, identities, and networks.
You bring practical experience in areas such as system hardening, endpoint security, security monitoring, or identity & access management.
Ideally, you are familiar with Microsoft Defender XDR or Microsoft Sentinel and have experience with PowerShell and KQL.
You work in a structured, careful, and reliable manner, communicate clearly, and handle customer systems and sensitive data responsibly.
