Role:

On behalf of a client, we are looking for a technically skilled and digitally savvy professional for 3D modelling and execution planning of a demanding mixed-use centre development. The construction project combines different residential forms, hotel use, and commercial spaces, placing high demands on constructive elaboration, digital building modelling, and interdisciplinary planning coordination. You will take responsibility for creating and further developing 3D building models with Vectorworks and translate complex architectural concepts into precise execution documents. Furthermore, you will actively contribute to the development of digital office standards and efficient modelling processes.

Responsibilities:

• Independent handling of execution planning for a demanding centre development with residential, hotel, and commercial uses

• Creation, editing, and continuous development of digital 3D building models with Vectorworks as a basis for technical project processing

• Derivation and elaboration of precise working, execution, and detail plans from the digital building model

• Constructive elaboration of complex architectural design concepts considering different usage requirements and constructional framework conditions

• Development and graphic implementation of demanding structural and connection details for building envelope, façades, interior fittings, and usage-specific components

• Coordination of planning requirements for different usage areas, especially cluster apartments, small apartments, hotel rooms, and commercial spaces

• Integration and coordination of specialist planner information from structural engineering, building services, building physics, and other technical disciplines

• Participation in model-based planning and coordination processes to ensure consistent and comprehensible project processing

• Review and quality assurance of 3D models and execution documents regarding geometric consistency, constructive accuracy, and completeness

• Active involvement in the development and optimisation of internal office CAD, modelling, and planning standards with a focus on Vectorworks and digital execution planning

• Close collaboration with architects, project managers, and specialist planners on technical clarifications, detail decisions, and coordination of planning interfaces

• Support of project implementation through ongoing model and plan adjustments as well as technical detail clarifications during the execution and realisation phase

Qualifications:

• Completed architecture studies at ETH or FH or a completed apprenticeship as a draughtsperson EFZ specialising in architecture or building draughtsperson, ideally with relevant further training

• Solid professional experience in execution and detail planning of building projects as well as pronounced knowledge of digital 3D building modelling

• Very good user knowledge of Vectorworks with confident practice in model-based creation and coordination of execution and detail plans

• Strong constructive and technical understanding as well as experience in the technical elaboration of complex architectural projects with different usage requirements

• Good knowledge of Swiss planning and execution processes, especially relevant SIA standards, construction technical standards, and requirements for execution planning

• Interest in the further development of digital planning methods and internal office CAD standards as well as an independent, structured, and quality-conscious working style

• Good German language skills in spoken and written form for technical project coordination as well as teamwork, communication skills, and enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration
