Mandated by a high-end watchmaking manufacturer in the Geneva region for a permanent position, we are looking for a:
SCHEDULING SPECIALIST / SCHEDULER (M/F)
Job Description
- Establish the manufacturing schedule and plan the workshop work
- Verify the feasibility of the manufacturing schedule by validating the load/capacity calculations of the workshops and supplies
- Create and launch manufacturing orders according to the production plan.
- Ensure the availability of components and supply them to the relevant department
- Monitor manufacturing orders and deliveries
- Handle returned parts and rework.
- Identify and analyse any shortcomings and discrepancies.
- Participate in optimisation and flow acceleration projects.
- Conduct analyses aimed at optimising stock levels
- Manage inventories and production sector management indicators.
Profile Sought
- HES engineer diploma, ES technician with a focus on production management, industrial engineering, supply chain.
- First experience in Switzerland in short-term scheduling/planning, experience in watchmaking would be a plus.
- Proficiency with IT tools, especially Excel
- Good knowledge of an ERP (SAP, pro-concept, M3)
