Building Automation Technician (m/f/d)

Role:
In this role, you will implement and maintain modern building automation solutions and ensure their reliable integration into complex technical infrastructures. You will programme, configure, and optimise intelligent control and visualisation systems and accompany projects from implementation to successful commissioning. As the technical interface between customers, specialist planners, and project partners, you will develop efficient solutions and ensure the sustainable operation of the systems.
Responsibilities:
Programming, parameterisation, and commissioning of modern building automation systems using technologies such as KNX, Loxone, AMX, BACnet, and PLC
Creation and maintenance of technical documentation such as electrical schematics, data point lists, and function descriptions
Configuration and support of server structures, visualisation solutions, and technical system infrastructure
Conducting fault analyses, troubleshooting, as well as optimisations and expansions of existing systems
Technical support and advice to customers during project implementation and ongoing operations
Collaboration with specialist planners, suppliers, and internal specialists to successfully realise automation projects
Support in the technical further development of existing systems and solutions
Ensuring high-quality implementation in compliance with technical standards
Qualifications:
Completed technical basic training in electrical engineering, building automation, automation, or a comparable field
Experience in building automation, plant control, or a related technical environment is an advantage
Knowledge in programming and parameterisation of automation systems
Good knowledge of network technology and communication systems in the field of building automation
Experience with control platforms and digital building systems
Independent, structured, and quality-conscious working style
Strong customer orientation and enjoyment in technical problem solving
Teamwork skills and good communication abilities
Category B driving licence
Good English skills are an advantage
Fluent German skills
