Orif is present in French-speaking Switzerland with 10 training sites and more than 560 employees. For our Orif Sion site, we are looking for:

Our kitchen operates collaboratively, with responsibilities shared among the team professionals. You will contribute to its organisation while participating in the training of young people requiring tailored support.

Tasks

Production and organisation

• Prepare and produce balanced, quality, and well-presented meals.
• Participate in the daily organisation of production.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene and HACCP standards.
• Ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of installations and equipment.
• Participate in the organisation and execution of banquets and events.

Special responsibilities

In collaboration with the team, you will take charge of certain responsibilities, including:

• Menu planning.
• Managing orders and stock.
• Developing offers and organising banquets.
• Coordinating certain production activities.
• Various organisational tasks defined within the team.

Training and support

• Pass on your expertise to trainees according to the instructions of the socio-professional master.
• Adapt your explanations to the abilities and needs of each individual.
• Share your observations with the socio-professional master.

Profile and skills

• Federal Certificate of Capacity (CFC) as a cook or equivalent qualification required.
• Several years of professional experience in cooking.
• Experience in supervising apprentices or vocational training is an asset.
• Excellent technical skills and mastery of HACCP standards.
• Ability to work independently and assume responsibilities.
• Organisational skills, anticipation, and priority management.
• A taste for collaborative work and sharing responsibilities.
• Interest in passing on the trade and supporting young people in difficulty.
• Driving licence.
