Strategic & Operational Buyer (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF84,500 - 97,500Our client is a company in the manufacturing industry, focusing on metal processing and the production of technical components. The company operates in a demanding industrial environment where reliable material supply and economical procurement processes play a central role.
Role:
You are responsible for strategic and operational purchasing, further develop supplier and procurement strategies, and ensure material availability through economical purchasing planning and sound data analysis.
Responsibilities:
You are responsible for strategic and operational purchasing and ensure smooth processes.
You ensure material availability and focus on economical procurement solutions.
You manage and develop supplier relationships as well as existing purchasing strategies.
You coordinate orders, delivery dates, and procurement processes.
You analyse relevant purchasing key figures and prepare corresponding evaluations.
You contribute your technical understanding and market knowledge to purchasing decisions.
You work closely with various internal departments and support the optimisation of processes.
Qualifications:
You have completed commercial or technical basic training and have several years of professional experience in a comparable purchasing role.
Further training in purchasing is an advantage.
You are confident in using ERP systems and have very good Excel skills; experience with Power BI is desirable.
With your communication skills, negotiation ability, and assertiveness, you convince as a competent contact person.
