About the job
Our Operations Facilities department ensures the safe, reliable, and energy-efficient operation of the technical systems at the airport. This includes, in particular, the passenger boarding bridges and the aircraft power supply, whose availability is essential for the smooth daily airport operations. In a dynamic environment, you ensure the high availability of the passenger boarding bridges and the aircraft power supply, thus contributing to smooth aircraft handling. In doing so, you take on the technical responsibility for the passenger boarding bridges, ensure continuous operation, and drive ongoing optimisation while complying with all environmental and safety standards.
Your job destination
- You are professionally and technically responsible for the passenger boarding bridges
- You plan and lead new construction and refurbishment projects in the area of passenger boarding bridges – from feasibility to commissioning and completion – managing all project phases with regard to deadlines, costs, quality, risks, and reporting
- You seamlessly integrate new or refurbished systems into the FZAG structure and ongoing operations
- You ensure availability, operational safety, and technical documentation of the systems and actively drive future automation
- You maintain communication with internal departments, external partners and customers, suppliers, and relevant authorities
- Both internally and externally, you take on an important hub function, where your organisational, analytical, and planning skills come fully into play
- You support additional tasks within the Operations Facilities department
Your skills in your luggage
- You have completed a mechanical or electrical basic training as well as advanced professional training (e.g. HF, FH or equivalent) in the field of plant or building technology and bring business management knowledge
- You have project management training and several years of project management experience in a complex operational organisation
- You impress with confident demeanour, assertiveness, communication skills, and a structured, process-oriented working style
- You work independently and responsibly, bring team spirit and organisational strength, and are proficient in using M365
- You have good German language skills in spoken and written form, basic knowledge of English, and a category B driving licence
