Responsibilities:
- As a mechatronics engineer/automation technician, you are responsible for the assembly and commissioning of surgical robots. You contribute to ensuring that highly complex medical devices are assembled and made ready for use according to technical specifications.
- Your tasks include the careful assembly of the mechanical, electronic, and electrical components of the surgical robots. You pay attention to the highest precision and quality to ensure flawless functionality.
- You are significantly involved in the commissioning of the surgical robots. This includes calibration, test runs, and functional checks to ensure the robots operate optimally and meet the requirements of medical applications.
- Furthermore, you support the team in fault diagnosis and troubleshooting during the assembly and commissioning process to ensure a smooth workflow.
Qualifications:
- Completed training as a mechatronics engineer or automation technician (EFZ / HF) or a comparable qualification
- Experience in the assembly and commissioning of technical systems, ideally in the field of medical technology
- Good knowledge of mechanics, electronics, and electrical engineering
- Independent and structured working style as well as a high quality awareness
- Teamwork skills, communication strength, and flexibility
- Native-level German skills; English skills are an advantage
