In this role, you take responsibility within the platform team for the stable, secure and efficient operation of a container-based platform as the central foundation of modern applications in the insurance environment. You ensure that the OpenShift/Kubernetes platform runs reliably and is continuously further developed. You also support development teams in optimally using the platform for containerised applications and translating technical requirements into robust solutions. In doing so, you make a decisive contribution to strengthening the technological basis for innovative, future-proof solutions in the insurance sector.
Responsibilities:
You operate and further develop an OpenShift/Kubernetes platform and ensure its stability
You find solutions for incidents and performance issues and support deployments
You continuously optimise the platform with automation, monitoring and observability
You also work on security, compliance and new cloud native technologies
On-call duty readiness is also part of the role
Qualifications:
Completed IT training and experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift
Good knowledge of Linux as well as understanding of network and security
Experience with CI/CD, GitOps, Helm or ArgoCD is an advantage
Knowledge of Ansible, Infrastructure as Code or monitoring is a plus
Structured working style, team spirit, willingness for on-call duty as well as very good German language skills, spoken and written
