Our client manages the IT infrastructure of SMEs and supports them in modernising their digital workplaces. With its own data centre and cloud services, the company offers comprehensive solutions from a single source. In this role, you will take on the technical responsibility for demanding modern workplace projects as an experienced professional – from architecture through migration to stable operation. You advise customers on equal terms, implement new concepts, and simultaneously support the professional development of the engineering team.
Responsibilities:
Design, planning, and implementation of modern digital workplace solutions for customers
Planning and management of Microsoft 365 environments including Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Entra ID
Development and implementation of identity and access management concepts with MFA, Conditional Access, and hybrid identities
Engineering and operation of Windows server and client platforms as well as endpoint management with Microsoft Intune
Taking technical lead in customer projects and supporting 2nd and 3rd level support
Maintaining technical documentation and knowledge base as well as supporting the further development of junior and professional engineers
Qualifications:
Several years of experience as a senior system engineer or in a comparable expert role
Solid knowledge of Windows Server and client, Active Directory, group policies, PKI, and lifecycle management
Experience in administration of Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Entra ID
Very good knowledge of Microsoft Intune, endpoint management, and modern authentication methods
Proficient use of PowerShell for automating operational processes
Experience with Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops as well as knowledge of virtualisation and network or firewall infrastructures is an advantage
Very good German language skills, high personal responsibility, and strong communication and teamwork skills
