Role:

On behalf of a client, we are looking for a qualified professional for project architecture and execution planning of demanding residential construction projects in a Swiss architectural environment. You will be involved in a large-scale residential development focusing on the conversion, extension, and addition of existing buildings and will accompany the construction project from SIA phase 41 tendering onwards. The focus is on the constructive elaboration of architectural designs, the creation of precise execution and detail plans, as well as coordination with specialist planners, authorities, and contractors. The position offers the opportunity to gain extensive experience in existing building development, technical project planning, and realisation of complex residential projects or to deepen existing expertise in a targeted manner.

Responsibilities:

• Participation in the planning and realisation of a large residential development focusing on conversion, extension, and addition of existing buildings

• Creation and coordination of execution, working, and detail plans for demanding residential projects according to SIA phases 41 to 53

• Constructive further development of architectural designs considering building construction, materialisation, building physics, and technical feasibility

• Handling planning tasks in existing buildings including surveys, constructive connections, and integration of new components

• Development of technical detailed solutions for conversions and additions, especially in the areas of building envelope, structural framework, facades, and interior fittings

• Coordination and alignment with specialist planners from structural engineering, building services, building physics, and other special disciplines

• Communication and technical coordination with authorities and approval bodies to clarify building law requirements and project-specific conditions

• Participation in tenders and submissions including technical plan attachments, material clarifications, and constructive service descriptions

• Review and coordination of specialist planner and contractor documents to ensure complete and consistent execution planning

• Technical support during construction including handling plan adjustments and clarifying constructive issues

• Participation in planning and coordination meetings as well as handling pending issues, plan revisions, and technical project documents

• Ensuring planning quality and documentation considering SIA standards, building law requirements, and project-specific execution standards

Qualifications:

• Completed architecture studies FH/ETH or a comparable recognised qualification in the field of architecture

• Experience in project planning or execution planning of building construction projects or motivation to deepen knowledge in constructive planning and realisation

• Knowledge in creating execution, working, and detail plans as well as understanding of building construction, materialisation, and technical planning interfaces

• Interest in conversion, renovation, and addition projects as well as in the architectural and constructive further development of existing building fabric

• Basic knowledge of the Swiss SIA planning phases and relevant building regulations, especially in connection with tendering and execution planning

• Confident use of common CAD and architectural planning software as well as experience in handling and coordinating digital plan documents

• Good German language skills in spoken and written form for communication with authorities, specialist planners, and contractors as well as independent handling of technical project documents
