IT Monitoring Engineer

Job Description - Production Engineer & Support - Lausanne - 6-month contract

Experis IT Geneva is recruiting for one of its clients in Lausanne a Production Engineer & Support for a 6-month contract.
You will work in a demanding banking environment with key responsibilities in production environment management and incident resolution.

Your Responsibilities:

• Plan batch jobs for all environments (SIMULATION, UAT, PRODUCTION)

• Monitor application and infrastructure performance

• Resolve technical incidents and collaborate with development teams to identify root causes

• Document incidents and participate in post-incident reviews

• Participate in change management, releases, migrations, and cross-functional projects (offboarding, implementation of new tools, etc.)

• Train and assist operations teams

• Automate recurring tasks (scripting, import/export of TWS plans, backups, cleanups, tool upgrades)

Your Profile:

• Degree in Computer Science or a related field (Bachelor, Master, or equivalent)

• 3 to 7 years of experience in IT systems support and maintenance

• Solid experience in batch chain planning and task automation

• Proficient with Unix/Linux/Windows environments and scheduling tools (TWS or equivalent)

• Experience in incident management and scripting (Shell, etc.)

• Ability to work under pressure and manage crises

• Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
