Two Sector Managers at 80%-100%, [class 23]

The Adult and Child Protection Court ensures the protection of individuals throughout their lives, from childhood to adulthood and up to their succession. It intervenes when no satisfactory solution for the person concerned can be found within the family, among close relatives, or any other institution that can provide assistance. Organised into 7 sectors and 12 chambers, it brings together magistrates as well as collaborators with varied profiles, who work together to fulfil public service missions with a strong human dimension.

Your mission

In close collaboration with the jurisdiction's management, you take charge of the sector under your responsibility, which includes court clerks and assistant clerks.

You also contribute to the management of the jurisdiction by providing the management with your analyses and expertise on the issues specific to your sector. You oversee projects concerning your sector and actively contribute to projects of jurisdictional scope. Depending on needs and by delegation from the management, you participate in cross-sectoral or institutional projects and may lead them.

In carrying out your responsibilities, you work closely with the management, magistrates, your fellow sector managers, as well as with professional referents, whose expertise contributes to the management and development of your sector's activities.

Your profile

You hold a university degree at bachelor or master level and have certified training in management or equivalent. You have 5 years of experience in management and team leadership, preferably acquired in the judicial field or within an administration.

With strong managerial skills, you know how to create a climate of trust that is constructive, positive and professional. Your natural leadership, team spirit and keen sense of communication enable you both to unite teams and collaborate with management and peers on large-scale projects.

With a strong sense of public service, you have excellent stress resistance and know how to reconcile a global vision with operational constraints. This exciting challenge will allow you to put your skills and commitment to good use, in line with public service values, and to fully invest yourself in a high-level managerial role.

Specific knowledge

• Good knowledge of the applicable legal framework, the functioning of the Judiciary, administration and Geneva institutions
• Excellent level of French, both written and spoken
• Excellent command of common office IT tools (Word, Excel, Outlook)
