Our client supports companies in the German-speaking part of Switzerland with comprehensive IT services, modern cloud solutions, and professional infrastructure management. For complex customer environments, an experienced engineering professional is sought who independently develops technical concepts and is responsible for their implementation. Your focus is on Microsoft 365, identity management, endpoint security, and virtual workplaces. At the same time, you contribute your expertise to customer consulting, improve existing services, and promote knowledge transfer within the team.
Responsibilities:
Development and implementation of modern workplace architectures as well as support for migrations
Technical consulting on Microsoft 365 services, cloud identities, and security configurations
Design and operation of Entra ID, Conditional Access, MFA, and hybrid identity solutions
Automation of configurations and operational processes with PowerShell
Support of Intune, automated device provisioning, and application distribution
Assistance with complex operational disruptions in 2nd and 3rd level support
Professional guidance of less experienced engineers and ensuring high-quality technical documentation
Qualifications:
Several years of professional experience in system engineering with a focus on modern workplace and Microsoft technologies
Very good knowledge of complex Windows server and client environments including Active Directory, GPO, and PKI
Solid experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and security and compliance configurations
Practical experience in identity & access management, conditional access, MFA, and hybrid identity architectures
Very good PowerShell skills and experience in automating IT processes
Knowledge of Citrix, hypervisor platforms, enterprise networks, firewalls, or Microsoft Teams Voice is an advantage
Independent and responsible working style as well as very good German language skills
