The Department of Culture and Digital Transition (DCTN) implements the City’s cultural policy in the fields of performing and visual arts, museums, and libraries. It supports artistic creation and innovation. It preserves and enhances the City’s cultural and scientific heritage. It is responsible for major cultural institutions. It organises and supports large-scale cultural events, facilitates initiatives that encourage civic debate, and promotes cultural practice through the activities of its institutions and services. It is also in charge of municipal IT and develops a new digital policy that is responsible, inclusive, participatory, and innovative.

Your mission and responsibilities
- Supervise the team of executive and reception assistants, under the direct responsibility of the administrator, by organising all activities within the sector under your responsibility.
- Manage all requests addressed to the magistrate in charge of the department in the administrative activities of their Presidential secretariat (diary, correspondence, appointment management, invitations, travel arrangements…).
- Organise and handle the administrative follow-up of the Administrative Council meetings, prepare and list documents on the weekly agenda, ensure follow-up of decisions.
- Support the executive secretariats of the department’s services, ensure reporting and administrative follow-up of the sector, and organise various events.
Your profile
- Hold a Federal Certificate of Executive Assistant and have several years of experience in a similar role.
- Have experience in supervising and managing an administrative team.
- Possess excellent knowledge of the political and cultural environment of Geneva, have a strong sense of public service, and adopt an attitude marked by tact, diplomacy, and discretion.
- Demonstrate flexibility, organisation, and autonomy in work.
- Show good stress resistance and the ability to manage priorities.
- Collaborate effectively within a team and adopt a solution-oriented approach.
- Master spoken and written French perfectly and be able to write independently.
- Show willingness to support and train apprentices.
- Be proficient with common office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
The day off can only be considered on Wednesdays or Fridays.
