Microsoft Network Engineer (m/f/d)

Responsibilities:
Planning, building and operating network infrastructures with a focus on Fortinet solutions, routing, switching and firewall administration
Designing and further developing scalable IT networks for SMEs as well as integrating Azure Networking and SD WAN into Microsoft Cloud platforms (Azure, M365)
Monitoring and analysing network security systems including intrusion detection, threat prevention and adjusting security policies
Troubleshooting, fault diagnosis and optimising network performance to ensure availability and efficiency
Technical consulting for customers and close coordination with sales teams in creating individual security and network architectures
Qualifications:
Completed IT training in system technology or equivalent computer science qualification
Several years of professional experience in network operations with a focus on routing, switching and firewall administration, especially with Fortinet technologies
Experience with Microsoft Cloud platforms (Azure, M365) as well as knowledge of Azure Networking and SD WAN solutions
In-depth know-how in IT security, network protection and use of monitoring tools for cyber defence
Advantageous: certifications such as Fortinet NSE, Cisco CCNA/CCNP or comparable qualifications
Category B driving licence as well as excellent German skills and good English skills
