Automation Technician (m/f/d)

Role:
As an automation and measurement technician, you ensure the operational readiness of PLCs, control systems, and technical OT networks. You take over the commissioning of complex systems, analyse faults, and ensure stable plant operation with precise measurement technology and reliable maintenance.
Responsibilities:
Independent assurance of the operational readiness of PLCs, control systems, and OT networks
Systematic fault diagnosis and troubleshooting on complex systems and machines
Commissioning of demanding automation and measurement technology systems
Calibration and maintenance of measuring and testing equipment
Maintenance and strategic development of the industrial OT network infrastructure
Technical support and coordination of external partners in technical projects
Creation and maintenance of technical documentation
Taking over the on-call service during day and night shifts
Qualifications:
Completed technical basic training in the electrical field, e.g. as an electrician, automation technician, or electronics technician
Solid experience in the installation of industrial systems as well as measurement and control technology
Good knowledge of industrial electronics, PLC programming, and drive technology
Professional experience in the fields of automation and measurement technology
Knowledge of industrial plant construction is an advantage
Good knowledge of PLC hardware and software
Experience with Allen Bradley and Siemens S7
Independent, analytical, and responsible working style
Willingness to participate in the on-call service
