The University Clinic for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Psychotherapy is one of the leading institutions in Switzerland providing outpatient, day-patient and inpatient psychiatric care as well as emergency care for all children and adolescents in the canton of Bern and parts of the cantons of Solothurn and Fribourg. As a university clinic, it has an extended mandate in supraregional specialised care as well as in teaching and research. As a clerk in the medical secretariat, you are the organisational hub supporting our interdisciplinary team in administrative matters and contributing to ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care. Your tasks

• As the first point of contact, you support the medical, therapeutic and nursing staff in all administrative tasks
• Further training and supervision are an important pillar of the CAP, which you organise and coordinate independently
• Maintaining the bed list and managing patient files in the system (ORBIS) are part of your daily work
• You process requests for files, reports, IV enquiries and carry out general secretarial and typing tasks
• Many enquiries from patients, guardians and network partners reach us by e-mail or telephone; you ensure these are answered
• Transferring duty rosters and recording employees’ working hours complete your profile

Your profile

• You have completed training, preferably in a commercial field, and ideally have experience in the medical field or a similar position
• You have sound IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) and are confident in handling clinical information systems (e.g. ORBIS)
• You work in an organised, structured manner and keep an overview
• You are communicative, reliable and discreet
• You have very good German language skills, both spoken and written
