Role:

As a Cloud Security Engineer Azure & Entra ID, you shape the Microsoft Cloud from the platform to the endpoint. Many companies are in the midst of transitioning from traditional server rooms to flexible cloud services. You influence this step with technical depth and a clear view of standards. Whether identities, networks, or modern workplace: you think through the connections and create stable, secure solutions.

Responsibilities:

• You automate cloud resources and operational processes with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and build standardized deployment procedures.

• You are responsible for migrations from on-premises environments to Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 (M365) from planning to completion.

• You further develop the modern workplace and manage endpoints from registration through configuration and compliance to endpoint security.

• Furthermore, you implement security and governance requirements technically. In Entra ID, you set up access rights, multi-factor authentication, and corporate applications.

• You design network components in the cloud yourself, including security groups and hybrid connections. You coordinate firewall and VPN topics with network specialists.

• In addition, you analyse complex cross-system faults, optimise existing environments, and use AI purposefully for more efficient administration.

Qualifications:

• You bring solid experience with Azure or M365 of at least 3 years, as well as practical experience from transformation projects into the Microsoft Cloud.

• You write secure scripts in PowerShell and have already deployed productive infrastructures with Bicep.

• You are familiar with Microsoft Intune and device compliance. You also confidently implement access models such as RBAC and Conditional Access.

• Additionally, you have solid networking knowledge around VNets, routing, DNS, and firewalls, preferably with practical experience on Fortinet.

• You approach problems in a structured way, take responsibility, and enjoy working in exchange with other specialist teams.

• Moreover, you are confident in technical discussions in both German and English. Microsoft certifications in cloud, identity, or security are welcome.
