What you can contribute to
- Process and develop projects, calculation tools and data, especially in the fields of life cycle assessments and greenhouse gas inventories; ensure quality control of eco-inventories in the construction sector
- Develop and update the "Corporate Footprint Calculator" as well as the life cycle assessment database of the federal administration
- Improve implementation and control instruments in the field of the circular economy and carry out, for example, checks regarding the availability of spare parts
- Research information on current and future topics in environmental research
- Analyse data from projects carried out in the fields of environmental research and the promotion of environmental technologies
- Contribute to drafting the Environment 2029–2032 research master plan and preparing the Federal Council report on the promotion of environmental technologies 2022–2026
What makes you unique
- University degree in engineering, environmental sciences or natural sciences
- Experience in life cycle assessments (ideally with OpenLCA), a taste for analysing numerical data and programming knowledge (Python, R and Excel)
- Knowledge in resource-efficient production, innovative technologies and the circular economy
- Independent, structured and rigorous working method, initiative and commitment
- Good oral and written expression and active knowledge of a second official language

- The degree (Bachelor or Master) must not be older than 18 months before the start date
