In nine municipalities in the Leimental region, we offer inpatient and outpatient care and support services. This offering is complemented by the possibility of semi-inpatient stays in the senior day and night centre. The Blumenrain Foundation is shaped by around 300 employees who act independently in the interest of the community. As reinforcement for the kitchen department, we are looking for the following by arrangement:

Deputy Head of Kitchen / Sous Chef (100%)

Your tasks with us:

• Co-responsibility for optimal, process-oriented planning and organisation of the department and coordinated interdisciplinary collaboration
• Personnel management and deployment planning of the team
• Co-responsibility for the training of apprentices
• Co-responsibility for the entire production process and inventory management
• Co-design of attractive offer planning
• Co-responsibility for budget control within the jointly developed budget framework
• Orientation on market situation (suppliers, offers, customers and competition etc.)
• Compliance with and control of hygiene guidelines, health protection and quality standards

Our expectations of you:

• Qualified chef (EFZ)
• Diet chef EFZ and head chef advantageous
• Leadership experience advantageous
• Team player, participative and communicative
• High service awareness
• Ability to connect and enjoyment in working with elderly people
• Good written and spoken German skills
• IT skills (MS Office, planning tools)
