You bring networks where modern companies need them: secure, segmented, and centrally controllable. As an Enterprise Network Engineer (Senior), you are responsible for demanding Cisco architectures from the initial sketch to stable operation. Your focus is on Cisco SD-WAN and Software Defined Access (SDA). Customers trust your technical judgement, and younger colleagues benefit from your experience.
Responsibilities:
You plan enterprise network solutions based on Cisco, configure them, and accompany the installation through to commissioning.
In customer projects in local and hybrid infrastructures, you bear the overall technical responsibility.
Furthermore, you build SDA fabrics with the Catalyst Center and securely connect sites via SD-WAN.
With thoughtful segmentation, you consistently implement Zero Trust in the network.
Additionally, you analyse tricky faults, which you resolve as the final escalation level in 3rd level support.
You also create documentation, specifically promote junior engineers, and strengthen sales with technical assessments and offers.
Qualifications:
You have solid senior experience in enterprise networking and know the Cisco portfolio in depth.
Routing, switching, wireless, and multicast are solid skills for you.
Ideally, you hold a certification at CCNP or CCIE level.
Furthermore, you have already implemented projects at a system integrator or in a larger IT organisation, and topics such as network automation and infrastructure as code appeal to you.
You work in a structured way, approach problems solution-oriented, and value clean results. Entrepreneurial thinking characterises you as much as your enthusiasm for technically complex challenges.
Additionally, you express yourself precisely in German, both spoken and written, read English technical documents effortlessly, and convince with an impeccable reputation. A category B driving licence completes your profile.
