Role:

On behalf of a client, we are looking for a qualified professional for model-based architectural planning, BIM coordination and technical execution planning of demanding building projects. You will develop precise working and detail plans based on digital 3D building models and support project management in the planning implementation of various construction projects. The focus is on CAD- and BIM-supported working planning, review of external specialist planners’ documents, constructive detail development and optimisation of digital planning processes. The position offers varied tasks in technical architectural planning and the opportunity to actively further develop internal BIM standards and efficient working methods.

Responsibilities:

• Model-based working and execution planning with creation of precise architectural plans for demanding building projects based on digital 3D building models

• CAD- and BIM-supported architectural planning with ArchiCAD including model construction, plan derivation, model maintenance and ongoing updating of project documents

• Constructive detail planning with development of technically feasible component connections, building envelopes, façade details and material transitions

• Review and approval coordination of external working plans from engineers, specialist planners and contractors regarding technical requirements and conformity with architectural planning

• Interdisciplinary BIM and specialist planner coordination with alignment of architectural models, structural planning, building services and other project-relevant specialist models

• Development and planning implementation of project variants with examination of different construction solutions, materialisations and technical optimisation possibilities

• Technical project optimisation with early detection of planning conflicts, constructive interfaces and improvement potentials in execution planning

• Support of architectural project management in organising, processing and coordinating smaller and larger building projects

• Independent handling of defined planning tasks within smaller projects as well as professionally coordinated collaboration on more complex construction projects

• Quality assurance of digital planning documents with control of model consistency, plan statuses, dimensional accuracy, completeness and constructive correctness

• Further development of internal BIM and CAD standards with participation in optimising modelling guidelines, plan templates and digital workflows

• Plan and documentation management with structured administration of working plans, detail drawings, model versions and project-relevant technical documents

Qualifications:

• Completed vocational training as a draughtsperson EFZ specialising in architecture with sound knowledge of Swiss building planning

• Good knowledge in working, execution and detail planning as well as solid understanding of building construction, materialisation and technical component connections

• Experience with CAD and BIM software, ideally ArchiCAD, as well as practical knowledge in model-based 3D building planning

• Interest in digital planning and interdisciplinary BIM collaboration as well as willingness to further develop standardised modelling and planning processes

• Knowledge of Swiss SIA planning phases and building technical requirements as well as experience in coordination with engineers, specialist planners and contractors is an advantage

• Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style with high accuracy, teamwork skills and strong quality awareness

• Very good German language skills in spoken and written form for technical planning coordination, project documentation and collaboration with internal and external project participants
